Year 3 WEMT Course Outline

Year 3 (in 2026) Term 3 courses are carefully designed to prepare students for the high standards of challenging OC (Opportunity Class) exam next year. 

We go beyond academics - naturing a love of learning while equipping students with the essential skills and strategies to excel. 

Strengthen their abilities in reading, writing, maths, and thinking skills so they can approach the OC exam with confidence. 

Year 3 WEMT Course Content

The Year 3 WEMT course will elevate your child's learning experience with our revamped Year 3 WEMT course! Our enhanced curriculum is designed to unlock your child's full potential;

The writing module will develop clear, purposeful, and persuasive writing skills through structured lessons that teach students how to plan, organise, and express their ideas with confidence. 
 

English Reading Comprehension: develop proven techniques to interpret and analyse challenging texts, identify key ideas, and approach multiple-choice questions with confidence. 
 

Mathematics gain a solid understanding of essential mathematical concepts, key formulas, and effective problem-solving techniques through engaging activities.  


Thinking skills sharpen analytical reasoning and thinking skills through stimulating exercises that challenge students to approach complex problems creatively and logically.

OC Trial Test Course (OCTTC)

OC Trial Test Course (OCTTC) is a significant for Year 4 students who will sit for the OC placement test in May 2026. 

 

By taking OC trial tests on a weekly basis, students will be able to systematically build up their exam skills and be confidently prepared for the actual exam. 

 

The courses consists of different types of questions and reflects the format, timing and conditions of the actual exam. It will help students to manage the test time efficiently, minimise errors, overcome exam nerves and perform at this or her optimum level.
