Year 3 (in 2025) Term 2 courses are designed to prepare students for the high standards of the challenging OC exam. We go beyond academics, fostering a love of learning and equipping your child with the skills and strategies they need to thrive. Sharpen their skills in reading, writing, mathematical reasoning and critical thinking skills.
Year 3 WEMT Course Content
The Year 3 WEMT course is carefully designed to prepare students for the high academic standards expected at this stage of their education.
The writing module will learn how to structure and organise your writing persuasively.
English lessons will develop techniques to tackle challenging texts and ace multiple-choice questions with confidence.
Mathematics lessons will give a solid understanding of mathematical concepts, formulas, and problem-solving techniques.
Mind-stimulating Thinking skills component will challenge yourself with engaging exercise to enhance critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

OC Foundation Course (OCFC)
OCFC Course Outline
OC Foundation Course (OCFC) is a special foundation course designed for Year 3 students to maximise their performance in the OCTTC and actual OC exam next year.
Each week, students attempt the OC exam style questions – reading tests in one week and mathematical reason & thinking skills tests in another week.
Teachers will then go through the questions and teach how to interpret the questions and find correct solutions.
The OCFC is unique in a way that it gives students a clear understanding of different OC question types and help students to build up their self-confidence in the 2024 OC Placement Test.
