Year 6 WEMT Course

This term represents the final stretch for Year 6 students as they prepare for independent school scholarship exams and selective school placement tests scheduled for 1st and 2nd May.

Now is the ideal time for students to strengthen their understanding and sharpen their skills in preparation for these competitive exams.

 

To ensure a thorough review of key content and the development of effective test-taking strategies. We strongly recommend enrolling both our WEMT and STTC courses. â€‹

Year 6 WEMT

The Year 6 WEMT course is designed for students ready to commit to regular weekly modules in preparation for the 2026 selective school and independent school scholarship exam. It provides a strong academic foundation while building essential test-taking skills across key subject areas!

Build a strong foundation; for the 2026 scholarship and selective school exams with targeted practice in writing, reading comprehension, mathematical reasoning, and critical thinking.

Develop powerful writing strategies: by learning how to structure, organise, and present persuasive arguments clearly and effectively.

Master reading comprehension: with skills to approach complex texts and multiple-choices questions. 

​

Simplify mathematics: by understanding core concepts, formulas, and applying effective problem-solving techniques.

Sharpen thinking: with engaging exercise that develop reasoning, logic, and analytical ability. â€‹â€‹

Selective Trial Test Course (STTC) 

Boost your child's confidence for the 2026 Selective School Exam with our STTC!

This comprehensive program dives deep into the exam, familiarising students with the format, timing, and conditions they'll face on test day. Through weekly trial test, they'll tackle a variety of question types and learn powerful strategies to succeed in the exam. 

​

There are two tests each week – Mathematical Reasoning + Thinking Skills every second week, and Reading + Writing on the alternate weeks. 


Cyberschool will offer extensive revision materials throughout the course, including the STTC challenge for reviewing reading comprehension, mathematical reasoning and thinking skills tests, and additional reading test (1 + 1 reading), writing retests and vocabulary practice tests.
